I know this may sound a bit silly, but when I think about my life in retrospect, especially if I were lying on my deathbed (if I end up on one), there are certain things I hope to have accomplished. First and foremost, I want to know that I have given love and have always been loved in return. It's important to me to have fulfilled someone's desires and needs. But perhaps most importantly, my ultimate dream is to become a cyborg.
For me, being a cyborg holds a deep spiritual meaning. It means having control over enhancing my own strength so that even the strongest person in the world would seem weak in comparison. It means addressing any personal shortcomings that I perceive within myself. Having a heads up display (HUD) would allow me to be aware of multiple things simultaneously, which is something I find valuable. Moreover, it's essential for me to prove that despite the added strength from technology, I am genuinely strong through my own efforts by training rigorously and compensating for any limitations brought about by the equipment attached to me. Ultimately, my goal is to understand myself as intimately as a doctor understands the human body or as a mechanic understands an automobile—having mastery over both my physical self and any extensions of it that I create; be it enhanced eyesight or hearing, an improved skeletal structure, wings or thrust systems, synthetic exo muscles for enhanced movement on foot or even exo armor.
Now you might wonder why all this matters so much? In order to help others overcome their challenges and explore places that are rarely visited, I aspire to possess a unique kind of power. This power will allow me to navigate the skies and lands in a manner reminiscent of a vampire. Perhaps another one of the abilities I aim to acquire through augmentation is the ability to extract and transfuse blood. JUST LIKE A VAMPIRE. My desire is to break free from the limitations imposed by cars and the need to pay for food, experiencing true freedom as a person who soars through the sky. When I successfully develop the necessary machinery, my ultimate goal is to journey into the realm above us.
Throughout my sky-life, I hope to be known as benevolent, possessing abilities and power that could easily be misused for causing harm or suffering. I want to utilize them for personal growth and improving the lives of others without being petty, indifferent, bloodthirsty, hateful or malicious. Ideally, I wish not to cause harm or take lives at all. Especially wont seek pleasure in others suffering.
I am aware I will be inserting myself in places and roles I don’t belong in by doing this, and so I must take extra care since anything I do without certification is me being a free spirited pirate and I have to prepare for the response the world has to pirates.
When I imagine myself soaring through the sky, extracting water from the clouds and never descending, I can't help but feel a sense of loneliness. It would be incredible if I had a sky family to share this extraordinary experience with. However, I must admit that the idea sounds a bit eccentric and cult like, so it's unlikely that anyone would be interested in joining.
But while I'm up there, I'll have ample time for deep reflection and meditation. Perhaps being in such an ethereal environment will allow my mind to wander into entirely new realms of thought. It's possible that I might even transcend physical desires and become asexual. The sky offers limitless possibilities for achieving nirvana or enlightenment – floating amidst atmospheric electricity, powered by solar energy and surrounded by pure water. Up there, it's just me and the birds I might encounter along the way.
Living indefinitely in such solitude with the right equipment and mindset could truly enable me to attain alaya vinjana – a state of supreme consciousness. The beauty of this scenario is that there won't be any worries about wasting time during meditation; whose time would it even be? It will be serene and peaceful – no signs of life as far as the eye can see in every direction. In many ways, it feels akin to being immersed in Minecraft's VOID, beckoning me towards its emptiness.
Back on solid ground, there may not be much happening aside from Gremphtech (my landborne company and paradigm outreach center) accomplishing its advertising goals while promoting Gremphoid creations.
For Gremphtech, the Second Amendment holds a deeper significance beyond just the right to bear arms and that might be what others need to hear so they can fund my.. no.. OUR and YOUR takeoff.
Sky People unite
Re: Sky People unite
Hmm interesting
In a world where you can be "the strongest" with cybernetic enhancement, others will surely follow suit. No Ironman fantasy for you sorry. You definitely can understand yourself intimately, and much further than just in the physical. Mastery over ones emotions and mental processes is just as important, maybe even more so (as mastery over mental processes enables mastery over the physical)gOO wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 7:13 pm For me, being a cyborg holds a deep spiritual meaning.
